A Book For

Reading, reimagined — alive, free, shared.

A Book For is a cultural project that gives reading back its place as something alive, accessible and deeply human — free of guilt-trips and elitism. Born from its founder's lifelong love of books, it rests on one belief: there is no single right way to read. Reading can be slow, fragmented or intuitive, and it can begin with a feeling, an image or a memory. Through accessible reviews and recommendations, an online and in-person book club, and an emotional rather than academic approach, A Book For helps irregular readers, fans of manga and comics, and even people who think they don't like reading at all find their own way back to books.

Who it's for

For book lovers who can't keep a regular reading habit, for readers of manga, comics, graphic novels and fanfiction, and for anyone convinced they 'don't like reading' — A Book For meets each of them where they are.

Read without pressure

Simple routines, concrete tips and accessible challenges to bring reading back into everyday life — guilt-free.

Every kind of reading counts

Comics, manga, graphic novels, fanfiction: legitimate doors into wider literary horizons, with no judgement.

The book club

Online and in person — a free space to share how a book made you feel, from the Book Club to its special editions.

An emotional approach

Starting from a feeling, a memory or a question rather than academic analysis — reading as an encounter.
