Book Club — First Edition
The first Book Club gathering: shared readings, conversation, and warmth in an open-air setting.
Settled into the décor, among baskets and a drum.
Peace and books — a smile from the first edition.
One eye on the phone, one on the canvas.
Painting workshop and good spirits.
An easy moment on the garden bench.
A calm smile before the living wall.
Gold hoops and a smile, the mood of the day.
A burst of laughter during the conversation.
Hands at work setting up the event.
The host takes the floor before the audience.
A word for the group, caught on a phone.
At the centre of attention, among the easels.
Leading the session, amid the easels.
A shared reading, page in hand.
Reading aloud before the gathering.
Taking the floor at the first Book Club edition.
At the mic, a few words to share.
Look of the day: white shirt and green wax print.
A heart on the canvas, brush in hand.
A smiling focus at the painting workshop.
First strokes on the blank canvas.
The sketch takes shape on the easel.
The brush refines the outline.
Work of the day: a burst of black.
Final touches on an expressive canvas.
A smiling portrait in the garden.
All set: easels lined up under the canopy.
